The ReStore is run primarily by volunteers. Skills needed are a friendly attitude and a willingness to help and learn. Retail experience and knowledge of building materials is helpful, but not required. Volunteers with building or handyman knowledge are especially valued by our customers for the advice they can give. Volunteers are needed as inventory receivers (pricing, cleaning, stocking), customer service, carryout, help load and unload the donation truck, and to assist with on-going marketing efforts such as distributing flyers and maintaining a presence with business people in the construction industry.

Here’s how to register as a Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity volunteer and how to sign up to work on ReStore projects. Please click on the light blue "Volunteer Now" button on the right of your screen. You will be taken directly to a calendar showing active GAHH projects. Click on login at the top left of the calendar. Here you may register if you are new to GAHH, or log in to volunteer for construction projects only if you have previously registered. After you log in, you will be contacted to set an appointment for a tour, an orientation and an interview with our ReStore Director to get you started. Call our office right away at 505-265-0057, x108 if you are having difficulties.
