Ground Breaking/Wall Raising at Sandia House

Homeowner Cythia and her daughter are all smiles as they participate in the ceremonial wall raising for Home number 154 for GAHH. Cynthia and her family have been waiting three years for this happy day.

Cynthia Joins House Captain John Mott (yellow shirt) and Volunteers to Raise the Wall.

The crown assembled for the ground breaking stayed to start work which began with the morning safety briefing by Construction Manager John Brown. At the conclusion of the briefing building began in earnest under a hot June sun.

John Brown Conducts the Safety Briefing.

The Talking is Done and Work Begins in Earnest

At the end of the day of working the walls are standing ready for work during week two.
