Land Acquisition Chair: Stephanie Granfors
Identify potential sites, evaluate sites' availability and appropriateness, evaluate sites suitability for affiliate's basic house plans, develop a site acquisitions criteria policy for board approval, implement the board-approved site acquisition policy and maintain acquired sites.
 
Building Chair: Bill Garrison & Doug Guinn
To coordinate labor, plans, materials and family interests to build the finished product, "a simple, decent house in a decent community for God's people in need."
 
Faith Outreach Chair: Carol Sauder
To cultivate Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity's relationship with local churches, seek Covenant Churches, and maintain ties to currently involved churches.
 
Family Selection Chair: Joan Costello
The committee organizes and carries out application, interview, and selection processes. We find the families who fit the criteria of need for shelter, ability to make no-interest loan payments, and ability to partner with Habitat for Humanity.
 
Family Support Chair: Joan Costello
Works with families through sweat equity, home ownership education, home purchase process, adjustment to new responsibilities and continued partnership with the organization. The committee is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating this aspect of the program.
 
Finance Chair: Dave Ericson
To provide financial oversight, to give guidance to the treasurer, and to provide long-range planning to ensure the fiscal viability and growth of the organization.
 
Investment Chair: Joe Varro
To set guidelines, philosophies, and responsibilities by which GAHH will operate its investment program.
 
Planning Chair: Vacant
Organizes the steps of and oversee the planning process in order to achieve a Stretegic Plan that represents the shared vision of the Board of Directors and allows GAHH to work towards its goals in a proactive manner.
 
Executive Chair: Mike Maurer
To handle Board matters and corporate affairs that arise between regular Board meetings.
 
Nominating Chair: Mike Athens
To recruit candidates for the Board of Directors that is effective and representative of the entire community, ensuring that the Board has overall balance and representation.
 
Grants Chair: Vacant
To disseminate information about GAHH projects and events.
 
Special Events Chair: Vacant
Special Events helps produce Habitat events such as celebrations, groundbreakings, dedications, fundraisers, and recognition ceremonies.  This is a great way to begin participating with Habitat for Humanity.
 
Policy Chair: Vacant
Provides a policy structure and procedural guidance for GAHH relative to the the adoption or amendment of GAHH policies.
 
Development Chair: Vacant
Raises sufficient money as determined by the board of directors to fund the needs of the organization. The development committee is ideal for persons interested in fundraising, organizational outreach, corporate outreach, or grant writing.
