Coleman Vision Donates to GAHH
This summer Coleman Vision donated $50 to GAHH for every base an Isotopes player stole at home this year. On August 29 Mike Maurer (Board President) and Chris Lehman (Executive Director) accepted Coleman Vision's donation of $1,250!! THANK YOU!!

Fundraising for the Remaining Townsend SW Lot
If you have been to the Townsend build site, you may have noticed the vacant lots adjacent to our homes.  Yes, they are owned by GAHH for future partner families.  We don’t own all the lots though. The corner lot was not included in the purchase, as it was not owned by the party that sold GAHH the lots. GAHH would really like to own that lot, Lot 37, to round out our ownership in the area, since we are already building in the area and it fits our lot criteria for a home site, in land, improvements and price.

To that end, in July the Land Committee kicked off a fundraising effort to raise the money needed to buy the final lot.  To date, through generous donations from JoAnn Albrecht, Winnie DeVore, and the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity Youth United, we have added over $11,000 to the Land Legacy Fund.  Thanks JoAnn and Winnie, and a GREAT BIG GIGANTIC HUGE THANKS to the Youth United.  They donated over $9,000!   Incredible!

We now have about $18,000 collected or committed to the goal of $30,000.  Yep, over half way in one short month!   When in need, our friends and donors step to the plate!

Would you help too?   Any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated and will get us to our goal.  Giving money to the Land Legacy Fund is also a great gift for a friend of family member who is difficult to buy for.  Dad already has too many ties?  Mom has all the knick knacks she needs?  Grandma and Grandpa have everything they could possibly want?   Give the gift of land, in their honor.  Simply write Land Legacy on your check, or if you prefer, use the Land Legacy form attached.

Next time you think about giving a donation, or are stumped for a gift, think of LAND FOR HABITAT! Thanks for your support.
