A Week of Solid Progress
On January 18 we had 42 volunteers at the site. There was great group from the Walmart distribution center in Los Lunas and another great group from Faith Lutheran Church. Saturday, January 21, was a day set apart. The day started out with the wall raising ceremony for the House by Faith (see related article). Faith Lutheran Church had almost 20 volunteers show up to work, but even more noteworthy was that there were volunteers from Walmart, YDI, the GAHH Board of Directors, the VA Pharmacy, and partner family members. There were 90 volunteers on the site, which is a record number in recent years. More story and photos here.
